Panelists focus on an especially public form of literature: boycott literature, a corpus of texts produced out of distinct contexts. Taking up the presidential theme, participants explore “literature and its publics” by enlarging the frame beyond academic boycott debates. Discussions of boycott in Irish, Indian, Chicano, and South African cultural history.
