Building a communal space for the digital humanities requires that we approach that space with a commitment to creating open and nonhierarchical dialogues, championing nontraditional work that might not otherwise be recognized through conventional scholarly channels, amplifying marginalized voices, advocating for learners, and sharing generously to support the work of our peers.
