Up to the nineteenth century, the culture (customs, clothes, songs, religious holidays) changed very little in predominantly agrarian regions across Romanian territories. Have the fall of the USSR, opening of the EU to Eastern Europe, strong influence of American culture, and economic globalization influenced the self-definition of Romanian spiritual values?
