Aggregation, Publication, Pedagogy: Medieval and Renaissance Studies in the Digital Age
A special session. Presiding: Daniel Powell, King’s Coll. London
Speakers: William R. Bowen, Univ. of Toronto; Laura Estill, Texas A&M Univ., College Station; Matthew Hiebert, Univ. of Victoria
Panelists explore the mobilization of a large-scale digital humanities project to facilitate content-area research in medieval and Renaissance studies. The utility of projects like the Renaissance Knowledge Network (ReKN) and Iter is shared with MLA attendees, providing a space of exchange and discussion. Through these projects we interrogate these fields in a digital age.
