A widely known and profoundly influential part of Austin’s literatures—“writing” off, from, and about itself—is “that ʼ70s show,” the outlaw music that radically changed soundscapes. “Country music has never been the same,” and neither has rock and roll. Panelists focus on the political, social, and cultural significance of Austin music.
